that is 2 of us with this leaking of the seal that connects the hydralic pump to the rear end.my agc0918 1999 has less than 100 yrs and was in at dealer last week for the same problem.the leak didnt show up on their floor so they told me to watch it and when it gets bad they will take the transmission out of tractor and fix the problem.let me know what your dealer does to yours .there is more of us all of the time with this leak problem.doesnt seem to be isolated like simplicity thinks it is.this is the 2nd time of fixing this problem when it gets to leaking again my dealer will fix it.agco918 chad e shafer

I own a Sovereign (bought new in 98). My dad owns a AC 917H (bought new in 1983(4)). WHen I compare my tractor to his I cannot see any difference between his tractors' hydrostatic configuration, and mine...except one major difference. My hydro pump leaks, and his does'nt (never has). Was there some change in the sealing configuration over the years? If so, what is it? It just seems strange that a 3 year old tractor should leak. I have the tractor at the dealer at this moment to get the leak fixed. They told me that they had talked to Simplicity, and because my hours are so low, (under 100 hours)they (Simplicity) were willing to help me out with my problem. As of yet, I do not know how extensive the help will be....but I have not been disapointed in the past. I just hope the problem will be resolved when I go to pick it up. GordU
