The Big Ten has a 3/4" shaft on the transmission and the Broadmoor has a 5/8" diameter shaft. But I do believe that I have read in a post by Pat Rarick that he drilled one out to fit. It is probably archived.

I bought that modified Hi/Lo from Pat after he got a "real" one. It performed quite nicely on my 2110. I had no linkage on it at all. To shift I shut off the engine, lift the seat pan, and yank it out or push it in to change gears. A couple of times I used a handy hoe handle for this when I didn't want to shut the engine off, but I don't recommend that. In my application I rarely needed to shift from one speed to the other. Pat had, I believe, a linkage that worked. He had issues with the homemade studs that the linkage hits breaking off, hence my lazy decision to skip linkage. -Don
