With all this talk about clone tractors, I finally got an authentic JC Penney tractor that I would like to restore from the ground up. However, the ID tag is nearly un recognizable. A few of the serial numbers are legible, but not the entire number. What is the best solution to demonstrate its' authenticity once restored? Somewhere, someone has some tags and the original stamper from the factory....does anyone know where?
MPH Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 I'd say before and after pics are about as good as you can do. I have a stamper set but not sure it be the same size. My guess as to the whereabout of the factory set=up=========likely melted down and turned into 6-7 Toyota's
