Which should it be... early or late paint style

Getting ready to strip the 716H down for paint. It's an early model, but has the later-model hood with the headlights inside. So... should I do the original paint scheme of black for the footrests, steering link and front axle, or all-orange like the later ones? Color is going to be Duplicolor DE-1620.

I would make it match the hood. That is what I did on my 713S.
