toyotalineman Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 I beleve that I have a AC 716 but the model number and serial numbers are worn off. Is there any where on the frame that these numbers are stamped?
BLT Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 If you browse here, you can get an idea. There are no numbers stamped into the frame. http://www.simpletractors.com/X-reference/s_ac_pg4.htm Page 4 is one of a few that will help you.
nateb17010 Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 how do you check what year of Kohler you have? or can't you?
Chris727 Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 Nate, the Kohler K-Series Service manual has the dates of manufacture broken down by Serial number.
toyotalineman Posted February 18, 2009 Author Posted February 18, 2009 Thanks guys for the info. Just worndering if anyone knows if this frame may be stamped anywhere with the ser. no. or model no.
RayS Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 They didn`t stamp the frames. They used a sticker with a model number and a serial number.
wilm169 Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 If you go here and compare with 6 sp, hydro or shuttle, you will get close with a partial MFG#. http://www.simpletractors.com/X-reference/ac_s_pg2.htm
MPH Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 Don't know about the newer RBT's but on the old Bseries there is a date # cast in the rearend just infront of the left axle. Works to geve you a ball park of when made, plus/minus a few years as the tranny may have sat in the wearhouse before being used as these tractors were made before the zero inventory manufacturing of today.
