more hood bolt questions......

I read a few posts a while back about hood bolts, but didn't pay much attention because I didn't have a tractor that the discussion applied to. Well, now I do, so I did a bit of researching in the archives and in my parts book. My 616 yeoman book calls for 5/16-18 thumb screws, 3/4 inch long, part number 928693. In the discussions, I found three different hood bolt types. Two are knurled head bolts, one with a cross bar and one without. The third is a flat blade type thumb screw. So after all that, which one belongs on the 616? And, it this tractor a round hood or a flat hood. I would call it flat by looking at it. I am going to either make or buy whatever bolts I need, just want to know which ones are right. I know you guys have the answers to all questions, so thanks in advance for the help! Steve-wis

I believe they were the flat ear thumb screws the same the Broadmoors. This is a yeoman not a serf, right? I found this on SimpletrACtors http://www.simpletractors.com/simplicity/1969_spotlight/yeoman.htm Edit: never mind me I thought I read Serf, and yes a flat hood.
