dmsmitty2004 Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 For some reason if my memory serves me correctly, the numbers like located on the bottom of the hood, or somewhere there about. This is like a mower a neighbor of mine has that I worked on. I was hoping to find the book on it, somewhere on this computer of mine. Depending on the horsepower, some of these has a B&S Vangaurd, either a 12.5 horsepower and a 16hp. The model should be either a 12.5LTH or 16LTH if hydrostat. Im guessing it has a 38 inch deck, so its probably a 12.5LTH As far as the Year, I would go by the numbers on the engine to get a date. If my brain would work for the moment, I could give you how briggs dates them, but I can't seem to recall it. Others can help there.
