Here are my twin 6211's ready for more snow. We didn't get enough for the blower to see duty today but that's OK because yesterday I sanded and painted the inside of the shoot. As you can see the plow tractor seen action today:D Look how much taller the plow tractor looks with the 25" rear and 16x8" front tires on it. When the paint dries more it will gets waxed good also:D Jace: They ain't the nicest pair but they are workers;) Scott: I put them on this winter to help me turn and it definitely helped, I like them.

Looks good Thom. Painting the blades sure does help the snow roll off, haven't tried waxing one, may have to do that. You could plow the snow into a windrow then blow it off like I do.;)

Marty: I have done that on some larger snows but this one was only about 3" and there was no berm anymore to worry about.

Sometimes we all just have to settle for a good working pair...and that looks as good as they come!

I don't know if any one else tried this but my 46 inch blade has a sheet of aluminum over it. It really does a good job of sheding the snow/dirt. Not my idea, I got it that way.

Michael: Is that polished aluminum? I was thinking of a piece of sheet plastic at one time but as long as I keep it painted and waxed it does OK.

Yes, it is polished. It really does a good job at wisking off the snow/dirt. Best part is with dirt it rinses right off with the hose!
