xenon172 Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 I need help in settling a debate. Did Simplicity or Allis Chalmers ever offer a cigarette lighter as an option back in the 60s or 70s? I know Wheel Horse and John Deere did and I think all the major manufactures did but I don't know for sure. Any help would be appreciated.
Killer_A-C Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 I have seen lighters on the 300 series A-C. I dont think it was an option on the B series....
joshuaareed Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 I actually had one on my A/C 314 Deluxe, which I think was a 1972 model year. So the answer is Yes.
Burntime Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 I put one on my landlord 2210, I quit smoking a few years back so now I use it for the radar detector:D
cojo92 Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 i got this on my B-110 but it looks factory or someone did a darn good job putting it in (and it looks like its been in for a long time) If im wrong let me no. thanks! MIKE
Chris727 Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 It would not have been a factory installed option on the B-series. Mike, I doubt yours is original, especially being mounted on the side and not facing the operator.
ikipp Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 I dunno Chis, that might be just the right mounting spot. I mean if a guy has a few to many he can one of two things. 1. Plug in the radar detector so smokey doesn't stop his tractor or 2. If a guy inbibes to much and falls out of the seat, he can grab a light on the way to the ground. Nice way to relax with your tractor.
