I recently purchased a 4211 for for 200$ and I am curiousif I got a deal? It is in like new condition, and appears to have been well taken care of. Thanks for any info.

Like any of the "Did I get a deal?" or "What is it worth?" questions it really depends on the condition of the unit and how much it is worth to you as a consumer. Based on your description of the condition of the unit I would say yes you got a good deal. My father purchased a trade in 4211 Hydro a few years back for $300 and he loves it. The tractor is easier to get on then our larger Sovereign. (not an issue for me but for a more "mature operator" it does make a difference) The unit starts right up and it drives very smoothly with the hydrostatic drive. The only weakness I see with it is that it doesn't have the full width rollers across rear of the deck which give the nice striping effect Simplicities are so well known for. Think of it this way.......it's hard to buy a decent walk behind mower for $200 so if it doesn't work it out for you I'm sure that you could blow it out and get all or even more out of it than you have into it.
