Idler/tension pulley on deck

Recommended Posts

tbar1.1
I have a 60" deck that loves to eat belts. The idler tension pulley is angled ever so little and has rubbed the top side of the pulley down to a razerblade, the bushing in the pivot arm that holds the pulley is rusted and siezed and is no longer just a bit taller than the bracket so it can pivot on the bracket mounting bolt. The sealed bearing in the pulley is also about shot. Can a fellow find the whole mounting bracket and pully or just the pulley or am I just going to have to "make" something that will work? Thanks in advance for any advice and help. jayt

I bet the spacer bushing would be ok if driven out & cleaned up. If not it is likely still available new, as is the pulley. Contact our parts dep't if more info needed. See our ad on this site. Bill from home
