Side effects of Cabin Fever

Last month when the temperatures bottomed out there was no way we could heat the whole shop so we retreated to a small section of it where a propane heater would take out some of the chill. Could only work on small projects do to the small space available and we had a tiller that we had set aside for just such an occasion. The cold lingered on longer than that little project so we could either call it quits or find something else to do. We were able squeeze this 1972 Ariens through the door and that kept us busy for another week until the weather broke. Refreshed the motor and tore the rest of the machine apart, replaced the auger bearings and sanded it down. Sanding was great as that activity kept you warm. We even retrofitted an electric starter that we had kicking around. At least this is sort of Orange. If anyone is curious about the inner workings of this machine I put a bunch of photos up on Photobucket. The link is http://s551.photobucket.com/albums/ii468/xenon172/Ariens2/

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
