Weekend haul

I was told by a friend of mine that his aunt had an old Simplicity tractor in her back field and I could probably get it cheap. I went to look on Saturday and this is what I found. I paid $25 for it.

Then, one of his cousins asked if I was interested in a couple more he had at his house. He described them as being the old ones with the flip up hood. I went to look at them Saturday afternoon. Got them for $200.

Both came with good 42 inch decks and also a three belt blower that is in poor shape. Matt (Memphis) came along and he bought a tractor also. I will let him post the pictures. Tom

Nice haul. What are you going to do with the RBT?
Jace, The 3416H got parted out. There was no engine for it. The trans, wheels/tires and front axle were all that was good on it.

Yes Erik, Both lights and brackets are original. Thanks guys! But I think Matt (Memphis) ended up with the best deal for the money. He paid $75 for the Gilson. By the way, The 725 is getting parted out also. Matt and I both need some parts for 700 projects tractor we have. I didn't think I would part out either one of these but I flipped the seat pan up after I got it home and look what I found.

I do have an extra trans laying around but I figure this was a sign. Tom

Although it is about as ugly as can be the muffler on that Gilson 16 is nice and quite. Had one on a Monkey wards 16 few years back.
