sammiefish Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 well, ive only got a few minutes left... so ill ask... anyone know the difference between the tillers 1600343 and the 1600346 the AC guide says the 346 will fit on the AC 300 and 400 series would the 343 as well?
UCD Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 The best answer is for you to down load the manuals so you can compare. The biggest difference for a 300 & 400 Allis tiller is the size if the lift rod and in some cases the distance between the hitch points. The lift rod on a Simplicity tiller is 1" the lift rod on a 300 & 400 tiller in most cases is 1 1/8". You can over come this if using a Simplicity tiller on a 300/400 by using a shim and spacers or changing the rear lift arm on the tractor or changing the lift rod on the tiller. everything else is basically the same.
