7010 exhaust

Recommended Posts

Hey Guys I have a simplicity 7010 that I am removing the way worn out 10hp kohler. And installing a 16 hp kohler, everything looks the same except for the exhaust outlet from cyl. I am wanting to use the original muffler with a reducer bushing installed in the cyl. Did the Landlords and soverigns use the same muffler. This tractor is used to mow acres every week. Dont wan to much back pressue. Thnaks Chris

I believe that all you need is the 14-16 hp exhaust elbow. It is a Kohler part, I have bought them before but don't have the part# its at home and I won't be back until Friday. Otherwise I think the mufflers and mounts are the same.

Thanks for the reply, if you are able to check the # it would be greatly appreciated. My biggest concern was restricted flow. Thanks Chris

If the engine you are installing is a K341 16hp, I believe that the 12hp ones linked above will be too small, if they are from a 14-16hp they should work.

Yep, Removed a K241S installing a K341S. Hey was down in the shop today forgot to mention one in earlier post, 4212 Broadmore Hydro just a grass cutter. Can one have to many orange and white tractors? Chris

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
