tracktor312 Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 Hey guys just picked up a landlord 7010 how can I tell the year the numbers are 1690016 and 002402 thanks Larry
Chris727 Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 Unless the hood and engine have been changed out it would be between '75 and '76. I think they went to Kohlers with square headlights on the '77 models. You can also check the "code" on your engine ID numbers, the first two digits are the year of manufacture of your engine.
nateb17010 Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 don't forget '74 that the year of mine and we need more # from your engine.
Chris727 Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 I'm sorry I hadn't thought about the "made when" section earlier. The 7000 series was not introduced until 1975. I just double checked the "made when" section. http://www.simpletractors.com/made_when/1974-1975.htm The #1690016 is shown under years 1975 and 1976. In 1977 they went to the late style six speed model. Going of the engine #s alone get only an approximation. Often they put engines that were already a year old into these tractors.
cojo92 Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 Hey i saw that on ebay but the seller had it as a 2010 lol. Glad to see it go to someone in the club.
