Simplicity 6516

Recommended Posts

I need a garden tractor to pull a Brinley moldboard plow and have an opportunity to get an old Simplicity 6516 really cheap. I already bought the plow only to find that my Huskee Supreme riding mower wasn't up to the task, I'm hoping this tractor is but I can't seem to find any info on it online. Can anybody help? My email is the_colonel@atlanticbb.net if anyone would like to write me directly. Thanks in advance! Jim

Footnote to my post on the Simplicity 6516: I'd also like to be able to use it for grading (with appropriate blades, of course) -- spreading gravel for walkways and driveways, etc. TIA, Jim

WELCOME; All I can say about them, sence I don't have one is they need the right hitches and some people on here have made there own.

Agree with the "right hitches" and if all else runs good - plow blade, grader blade(use the plow frame attachment) and a Brinley hitch for the back(MarksA/C (6518) has pics of the correct hitch, little different from the 6200's) Here are some pics http://www.simpletractors.com/club2/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=100579

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
