Repairing a Leak In a Plastic Gas Tank.......

Does anyone have any ideas on repairing a hole in the plastic type gas tanks?? I also have one that has the hose attach broken off flush with the outside of the tank....Drill and tap for a brass barb fitting?? JB weld?? Get a metal tank?? Any experiences?? Thanks.

If it is polypropylene it can be heat-welded with a heat gun or soldering iron. Note, this MUST be done with the tank clean and aired out completely. NO fumes.

I have several of these (for the 7000, 7100 series) sitting here taking up space. I will give you one for the cost of shipping to save you some time and headaches....
