powermax_paul 1 Posted April 19, 2001 Thanks Dallenx! That is very good information to have, not only for powermax tillers, but for aftermarket machinery as well. For instance, one can purchase a Cat "O" chipper/shreader that requires a 540 PTO. These usually have a pulley at the end of the PTO shaft anyway, so by changing out the pulley you can achieve the proper machine speed. (Always check the rpm capability of the bearings at the machine end of the PTO shaft.) Paul
JeffG 0 Posted April 19, 2001 Dana, Thanks for the valuable information. What is the total cost going to be (ballpark)? Jeff
dallenx 0 Posted April 20, 2001 They told me the total price for the above parts will be about $99.95, the parts are supposedly 'special' order so I haven't gotten them yet. The pto shaft w/yoke look just like the drawing in my owners manual for the pto finish mower. The other parts look like they're out of the drawing for the tiller pto shaft. http://www.drivelines.com/catalogs/weasler/6_series/6_series.html http://www.drive-lines.com/catalogs/weasler/6_series/6_series.html
dallenx 0 Posted April 20, 2001 Oh my gosh. Try this web site. The Ag catalog download is long (2.5meg) but its very interesting. This company lists a whole bunch of pto parts including the 1" x 15 spline pieces which start on page 13.[A href=' http://www.neapco.com/catalogs.htm http://www.neapco.com/catalogs.htm
JeffG 0 Posted April 20, 2001 Nice job Dana! This site will be very useful to us PowerMax owners struggling with NLA PTO parts. Good find! Jeff
