Land Lord front wheel seal

Recommended Posts

Startrd out as a simple front tire change on my 64 LL but then, of course, I had to ck the bearings. It wasn't easy but I finally traced them to a common set2 and they are on order. My trouble is the parts list does not show the seal ?? It carries Timken part # LM1900L and is a strange bird. Not like a normal seal with an inner sealing lip. I guess it seals on the outside,in the hub, and there is an inner part that snaps over the inner bearing race and is stationary when it is in operation. Anybody know the Simplicity part # for the seal ? Maybe there is a replacment that seals "normally". The design actually looks like it would work pretty good.
