K301s switch

I'm preparing to switch a Kohler K301S from an AC 712H into a Simplicity 7112H. The engines have different series numbers. The electrical components appear to be similar with a few location differences. Are all the electrical/ignition components (voltage regulator, solenoid, etc.) identical? Are they just attached in different locations on the 712H v. the 7112H? I'd like to make the 7112 look original versus the layout on the 712H. (The 712H is my parts tractor.) Any potential problems/incompatibilities I need to look out for? Thanks, Steve
