Input shaft seals on Vickers Hydro

Has anyone ever replaced the seal on the input shaft on a Vickers Hydro? Mine is leaking and dripping onto my brake. Pintle shaft look good. Rear end had gear oil in it (not dextron) so I think this is the only leak. Does anyone know the seal number or bearing nunber? Simplicity no longer carries these parts. Thanks, -Dave

Are you refering to the seal on the pulley shaft? If so it is PN# 1650071SM and $12.48 http://www.jackssmallengines.com/searchdb2.cfm

These people have helped me a lot on hydros, Great people to work with and will ship to you. They sent me a full set of gaskets and seals for the sunstrand 15 for $48. http://www.centralhydraulics.biz/hydro_pumps.htm

I would look at the number that is stamped into the bearings and seals outer edge. Most of these bearings and seals are standard sizes used in other applications and can be had at a bearing supplier. The only bearings that I am a ware of that is specially made for simplicity is the one in the cone clutch and output shaft in the BGB.
