Guest Posted April 29, 2001 Hi I am new to the forum and also to owning a tractor. I have a little less than 2 acres to mow. Kind of steep but no obstructions to worry about. My dealer recommended a new broadmoor 16 hp hydro with act and wheel weights after coming out to walk the property. I don't plan to use a snow blower but want the capability in case I change my mind. Live in Southern NH. Any advise would be helpful. I plan to purchase from simplicity online store and have local dealer arrange delivery, etc. Savings will be about $250. JeffNemes 1 Posted April 29, 2001 Sounds like you have some hills to deal with. A dealers experience and recommendation can also save you a lot more in the long run!
Al 6 Posted April 30, 2001 Hi, You can also put fluid in the tires. Use windshield washer fluid. Probably about 4 gal per tire on that. Just break the bead and pour it in. The fluid should not be higher than the valve stem when it is up at the top on the tractor. Can use with weights. Really helps on hillsides etc. Good luck, You'll love that tractor.
