OK, I took the starter off of the one that doesn't run and put it on the one that is supposed to run, but doesn't have a starter. I hooked the wires up to the voltage regulator the same way. Starter started spinning wire on voltage reg sparked and then the starter stopped. Then I realized the wiring order on the two voltage regulators weren't the same. SO... did I only fry the voltage reg or did I damage the starter?
