Younger boy went to take a load of scrap in to the scrapyard and ended up coming home with this..

Apparently they took the side panels & hood off (whoever brought it in to be scrapped) and wrapped a chain around the fuel tank & battery and lifted it with a tractor loader. tin was bent up and gas tank is bowed in. Battery was crushed as was steering wheel. Tiller and drive seems workable, but the tiller shroud is goin to have to be removed and alot of straightening done.

Engine turns way too free, but the boy says there is air coming out of the exaust, so if hes lucky its just a stuck valve.

Havnt looked at the gear box or tranny yet.. Weighed in at 700 lbs and cost him their price by weight of $80 It is a 1967 2012 3 speed with a 8" low speed pulley

Well well, he came home today from another scrap yard and had robbed the rear lift, lift cable, collar, 36" tiller idler pulley set, and 42 " snowblower ( less hitch) from a totally wrecked 712S. Again paying by the pound for thse trinkets too...

It's always a good when you can come home from a scrap yard with better stuff than you took in!!
