HB 212 Hydrostat Pump repair

Recommended Posts

bob1959
I am having my hydro pump rebuilt because the O rings on the shaft are leaking bad. My oldtimer AC dealer said we can have the case bore out to handle new needle bearings and seals intead of the O rings. I am taking it to my machine shop today to get bored out. Just in case anybody else wants to try this the part# for the needle bearing is 1652251SM Briggs & Stratton and the seal is part #156084 Briggs & Stratton. The machine shop will have to step done the bore for the seal because the outside dia. is larger. I will let you know how it comes out.
