A few old AC questions answered ...

Recommended Posts

I've just updated the B-10/B-12 section with information from a dealer product information package, thanks to Del Allen. It answers a few of my questions, including: 1) All late B-10s were "Bumblebees" while early ones were not 2) B-12s had black steering wheels, while late B-10s still had white ones 3) Late B-10s and B-12s had black engines and running gear while early ones were yellow, as were BIG TENs' 4) Late B-1Os and B-12s were the first to use model ID plates in the grille, in addition to the AC emblem Plus, I found out some things that I hadn't heard even questions about, such as: 1) Late B-10s and B-12s had a new heavier front axle and spindles 2) They had new, longer choke and throttle levers 3) They also had a chrome center cap for the steering wheel with the AC log on it Now if we could only find out more about the paint codes and exactly when the paint changed ...[A href='http://www.simpletractors.com/models/b_series/1966_cat/b-10_&_b-12.htm']http://www.simpletractors.com/models/b_series/1966_cat/b-10_&_b-12.htm[/a]

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁

It's in pretty sad shape, but yes I have a yellow plastic cap that I'm fairly certain is what you need. PM me your details and I'll get it out to you.
