Paid my dues and thus, here is my Deutz Allis 920 diesel. Love this machine, she is a beast. Still have to pull the fuel pump and replace the gasget between it and the engine block. Enjoy. I changed the rotted fuel line from the tank to the pump today, changed the ancient looking fuel filter and the plugged up air filter. The bottom of the fuel pump has pot metal disease, and is the source of my oil leak, I slowed it a bit with JB weld. It will have to do for now, a new pump is $127 plus shipping. I work on setting aside the money over the winter. Just have to keep a piece of cardboard under it and watch the oil level. Thanks for the compliments. Mike

It is my dream to own a small diesel like yours one day.I don't know a thing about them(these tractors)but did rebuild a few small ones long ago in shop class.I know they are tough and like to be run.I want one I can hook a small generator to the front and pull it out when the power goes down, which is often here even though we don't get killer snow(I am at the end of a Power Co-op line). I'll take it!Uh, what was your price?

I paid 1100 for mine, she is a bit smokey when running, espicaly at lower rpms, but still a bit of a bluish white haze when running, blow by is little to none, but I have learned from other diesels, this doesnt always mean lube oil burning. If the injectors are fouled from to much idling, it will smoke this way. After idling for a few moments like me opening a gate, when I throttle out, she will make a nice cloud of unburnt fuel, so she is either injecting to much fuel or the timing is off. I will look it that more this week. She has no lack in power for mowing, thats for sure! mike

yep original paint, but its pretty faded and scratched up. Just trying to get her mechanicly sound. I need to solve the source of all the smoking to some extent. Sometimes these older diesels just smoke, from age and wear. Mike
