carb adjustments on my 66 707

well got my new 707 at the begining of the week and got all the lil stuff done cleaned the points got spark new tubes no more flat tires replaced missing bolts cleaned the gas tank of rust rebuilt carb tonite what a mess two hours to get the float needle out well its all back together but idont know what the needle settings are can anyone help thanks rob

Install the needle/ float, turn the carb upside down so that the float is on top, carb body on the bottom, in your hand. The float should be level with the casting, or, parallel to the casting. The air needle on the bottom of the carb body, after assembly...turn the needle out 1 1/2 turns, the engine should start, fine tune it with the engine running.
