Guest Posted May 7, 2001 Well, with the arrival of my new Simplicity Broadmoor this coming Wednesday, I need to clear the room used up by the existing tractor I have, an Allis-Chalmers 712 Shuttle lawn tractor. The thing must be close to 30 years old (I inherited it from the former owner of my house). It runs ok, although the transmission has major problems (only runs one speed forward). My question is, is it worth anything? Or should I just junk it? There seem to be some Allis-Chalmers collectors out there somewhere - so I was just wondering if anyone has any opinions. Thanks! Les 4 Posted May 8, 2001 I ran a 712S for one year and got so disgusted with it that I parted the tractor out. I did not like the shuttle trans even when it worked right, which wasnt often.
