I had my 27hp Prestige in for it's check up. I was going to do it myself, but ran out of time. Unit came back today and I was handed a bag with used head gaskets in it. Wales Lawn and Garden found the bad gaskets and because it was under warranty everything was covered. Great Dealer What would cause such a problem in a new tractor. It never back fires when shutting off.

Maybe the factory doesn't take the time to re-torque the heads after it has been run and warmed up
