There's over 15 million people out of work. Here's a quote from the Labor Department regarding the most recent Unemployment Insurance initial filings (people who just got fired): "In the week ending Oct. 24, the advance figure for seasonally adjusted initial claims was 530,000, a decrease of 1,000 from the previous week's unrevised figure of 531,000. The 4-week moving average was 526,250, a decrease of 6,000 from the previous week's unrevised average of 532,250." Translated, this means way over a half million people every week (over 2 million a month) are getting fired on top of the 15 million already out of work. I wish Shaun good luck and Godspeed as I can see what likely happened.
