AC 312D Tiller

I have a AC 312D. I also have a B110 with a 32" tiller. I took the tiller off the B110 abd mounted it on the 312D using the pully setup from the B110. My question is how are you supposed to actually hook up a tiller to the 312D? Can I use the pto pulleys from the front? The tiller turns very slow too.

Its not practical to run the tiller off the front PTO. The tiller should run off the bevel gear box just as it did on the B-110. You will need a longer belt because the 300 series tactor has a longer wheelbase.

I just picked up a 312D with a tiller, the tractor is rough but the tiller is in good shape. It appears that the lift rod ftom the 312 is 1 1/8 and won't fit in the reciever on my Big Ten. Is this normal or has someone done some backyard engineering.
