Did A-C ever make Jacobsen?

My neighbor had an older Jacobsen sitting outside the other day, not for sale. It is orange and sort of resembles HappyJack's Homelite. I am just curious in case it ever would be for sale. Thanks, Jordan.

Jacobson did make Homelites in the late 70's - eary 80's and then if I recall Homelite bought out Jacobson or they merged companies to become homelite jacobson. They are not the same or even close to being the same as any of the Homelite's-AC's or Simplicity other then the hood looks similer at least the grill does. My local Simplicity dealer has a Homelite Jacobson tractor used for sale but its not the same quailty as the other tractors in my opinion. I hope this helps but this is mostly from my memorey from talking to my dealers owner Mark Waite whom used to sell all the brands but now just sells Simplicitys. >>->happjack<-<<
