Changing fluid in L12 Loader

I'm getting ready to change the fluid in my L12 loader for winter use. w10 ,10/30? I bought this over the summer so I don't know what the previous owner has in it. Maybe some of you can suggest what to use from experience! I also would like to know how much fluid I will need to do this? Should lines and hoses be drained ect.? Thanks Mike

Mine used hydraulic fluid. If it is the tractor engine you are talking about, 10W30 is probably fine.sm01

This came out of the Simplicity operators book for 990515 loader. 10W30 for all ambient temperatures.

Yep. 10W30 Motor Oil. I had the L-12 equivalent Simplicity loader...
