perry 1 Posted December 15, 2009 whats the correct ignition for a simplicty 3314V ?. got a part # ?. i got ahold of a real nice tractor in original shape but some yoot cut & spliced the ignition wires and tryed installing a aftermarket ignition. i have a can full of ignitions but having a hard time figureing out the correct one. the tractor wires are white, purple, green, & light blue. i guess im just stuck in the 60's with the good'ol push button start :D. sammiefish 2 Posted December 16, 2009 without checking continuity i dont think you will be able to tell just by looking... I recently got a switch with the same blade arrangement which plugged right into the wiring harness... it did not work.. i checked the continuity at different key positions, it was wrong...
