We all know about the cadplans loaders. The Johnny Bucket is a cheaper and simpler way to do some of a loaders work. The cadplans are for people that have the time and cash to build, fabricate, and change the plans. The cad loaders are not designed for a simplicity or AC. Not all people can do this. Lots of people want loaders but many don't have the tools or the knowhow to take on such a project. The Johnny Bucket has helped them out.

Thanks for the info !!! Its always good to learn about additional tractor resources. I was not familiar with the company, but it looks like their bucket solution is a little more 'robust' than the Johnny Bucket. Perhaps the 'Johnny Bucket' is more suitable for 'light duty' applications. Regards, TK

I think the Cadplans loaders are more permanent, too. It looks to me that you pretty much have to dedicate your tractor to having the loader on it. I think the Johnny Bucket was designed as an attachment that could be installed/removed easily and used the existing attaching and lifting hardware of the tractor. So there are pros and cons of each, I'm sure. From a capacity standpoint, I'm not sure the cadplans loader cited can lift that much more weight than a Johnny Bucket, but it probably can lift higher. -Don M
