RUMBLEFISH 0 Posted December 29, 2009 I'm into the middle of my little BIG TEN rebuilding project and have reached the steering gear box. The needle bearing are good and everything seems to be in good shape. I am going to put it all back together but want to know what type of grease should I use? This thing was caked with grease acorns grass and all kinds of junk but after 45 years I would expect that. And on a side note without this site I would have never attempted something like this. Thanks;)
farmtoybuilder 4 Posted December 29, 2009 We use HD lithium grease with molly on ours. And spray gears with a dry graphite spray.
