Finaly got the 700 running correct turns out it was the coil that was bad.I had gone through and put in new valves,rod,piston,points condensor retimed it but still started good but at fast throttle it would backfire and stop. I went so far as to buy a spark tester,it looked like good spark but there is something wrong with the coil.Now I only need 2 more to get my walkers going. Found a nice supplyer for them off shore coils but at half price of briggs I am glad I got it

I would like to know where you are getting the coils. I think my B-1 may need one. Roy
