Blade shoe mod (with pics)

I couldn't get the snow blade on my yeoman set where I wanted it, it was either too high or dragging right on the driveway. So I took the shoes and slotted the bolt holes so now I can adjust the blade to exactly where I want it, and it works great! Easy fix. I did notice that with the slop in the blade mount, the blade can actually roll forward a bit when there is pressure on the bottom of the blade, and when it rolls the scraper blade lowers about 1/8 inch, but otherwise I should be good to go. Top pic is before, other two are after. Steve

They are machined. I work in a machine shop, am a journeyman toolmaker by trade. Boss lets us work on our own stuff on our own time, which is very nice and handy. Steve
