I have access to a very low hours Briggs Vanguard 16hp v twin. It is a horizontal shaft and appears to have the correct sized crank. Does anyone have the resources to determine if this is something that is remotely compatible with a re-power? Thanks Ray. This motor has the electric start and the oil filter. It looks like mounting the driveshaft is the biggest hurdle. I'll see what he wants for it. Looks like it would be a great repower if it works.

Jim,s repair has the kits for the flywheel adapter but still have to improvise some, a u-joint replaces where the fiber disk is. Stan

Nevermind. He wants more than I want to spend on a motor I don't really need. I'll post it for him in the classifieds.
