16 horse briggs carb - Emulsion tube

I have been very lucky getting the emulsion tubes out. When reassembling, is there any danger in giving the threads a small coat of anti-sieze?

Just make sure you do not get any on the tapered seating surface at the end of the threads. Put the anti-sieze only on the tube, not in the hole. Let me know if it works. I ruined one tube years ago by not knowing how the carb came apart. I ruined another about a year ago because the carb was so corroded the tube was not about to come out. I twisted the screw slots out of the tube, then tried to drill the tube out, threw the carb away after I pried it open and took out the float, which was the only usable part.
