Wiring for Sovereign Rear Work Light

Recommended Posts

Can anyone tell me how the wiring for the Sovereign rear worklight should be? I bought a 55w utility light for my 3415H, which has a hole in the dash for the switch and a hole in the right rear fender for the light, but didn't have a light, switch, or wiring, when I got it. If anyone has or could take pics that would be a real plus! I'm also wondering if I need to run a seperate in-line fuse and / or relay.

The work light I put on my 7016 is just through the switch to the pos side of the battery. I have it on a separate switch then the headlights.

Yes it currently has headlights on it. All the wiring and everything to them is factory, but it didn't have bulbs. I got bulbs from Topbulb.com ($80 + $10 shiping= OUCH), not cheap but it does now have 4 working headlights! I was glad they worked with no problems b/c the guy I bought it from said it never had headlights in it at all and he owned it since it was almost new.
