Sim 6200 Series OK?

Looking at a 6200 series Simplicity. Seems to be a garden tractor in a smaller size but am looking for comments from users..... Availability of attachments on the used market....etc....etc. Thank you Ken Williams

They are more of a "lawn" mower than anything else, though they do a fair job of blowing snow. I don't see many attachments for them around, not near as many as for the full frame garden tractors. Sam

They call anything today a garden trac.Those are not.alum motor and trans imho.

Hello, I have a 1981 model 6216 and have not been able to break it yet. Bought it used from 2nd owner and have been using it to grade dirt and stone with the 42" snow plow. I have added 26"x12" lug tires to do this type of work and have had no problems. And of course I get that Simplicity cut with the 42" deck

I also have a 6216. Just got it recently so I can't comment on how they hold up. Mine has a cast iron transaxle not aluminum. Tractor seems to be built solid. I'm sure it's not a beefy as some other garden tractors, but it all depends what you exspect it to do.
