Will a 48" deck fit on my Squire 9

I am looking for a 42" deck for my Squire 9...but 48" decks are easier to come by...will the 48" fit right up?

No it will not. 48" decks only fit on the longer wheelbase tractors. Large frame tractors were made 4" longer when hydros and variable speed rigs were introduced starting with the B-110 and equivalent Simplicity versions (I think the 7010 and 3010, but don't quote me!) Your Squire is too short! Tom

I have about 10 42inch decks laying around but I am in Florida. I kept my eye open and found all of mine. 48 inch decks are hard to fine down here.If you start watching Craig's list or classifieds you will find simplicity Mower decks but takes time.
