hydro lift option - RBT

Recommended Posts

Not a fluid hydraulic, I think electric lift might have been an option. The hydraulic lifts were not offered until the 7100 series with a sunstrand pump with special releif valves, these parts can be bought used and added to most of the earlier models, not sure what would be involved to plumb it into the vickers.

They offered the charge pump driven hydrolifts on the 7100 series. These can be retro-fitted to the 7000 series tractors with Sunstrand hydros. I think there was someone who adapted a hydrolift to run off a Vickers, but I don't remember who it was.

I have a 1970 Sovereign 3212V with the pump and cylinder option. Been there since it was new. Never hooked it up or used it. We have had this tractor since it was new. Has been collecting dust for the last dozen years or so. Just pulled it out sunday. Got it cleaned up. time to bring it back to life. i posted a tiny vid of it on youtube using my "ammonia11" screen name. Its all pretty much original.
