I know it might be the nature of the beast but has anyone found a simple way of defogging the windows on soft glass snow cab? I have the spray for goggles but I'm worried about the damage it could cause on the soft window material, just a thought if anyone else has any ideas.... roof vent maybe to help circulate air?

i dont have that promblem. my cabs are old and have lots of air vents sm00. how sealed is your cab ?. maybe try rain X or the anti-fog. i belive my wheel horse buddy used the anti-fog on his. its used on goggles so i would think it would be safe on the windows. im sure someone here has tryed it. i use this product on my windows - http://www.novuspolish.com/

Use mequires cleaner for convertible tops. Then when you get in the cab make sure you did not shovel or heat your body up before you get it. Mine is fine as long as I snowthrow first and shovel after...

A small 12V dash fan or a fan powered rear window defroster. I used a 12V rear window defroster mounted on the roof of the cab pointing toward the windshield http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=96144 http://www.jcwhitney.com/fans/c10338j1s17.jcwx http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Dash-Mount-Heater-Fan-Portable-12v-12-volt-car-truck-RV_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem1c106aa673QQitemZ120534509171QQptZBoatQ5fPartsQ5fAccessoriesQ5fGear

Here in Jersey it does not matter if you shovel before or after we get really wet and humid snow storms that contribute mostly to the problem. My cab is pretty tight, no holes. Thanks for the input everyone, have a nice day.

I had someone tell me a snowmobilers trick is to work shaving cream onto the window and buff. No idea if it works but it was bizzare enough to remember...

Shaving cream is bizzare, I'll have to ask my neighbor, he lives on his sled this time of year, he might have heard that one before. Thanks for the input.

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
