Need help. Im working on my neighbors snow blower whic has a 6hp Tecumseh. It starts hard, gets up and running to speed, then slows down and quits. Here is what i tried so far: - Drained carb and tank and added Fresh gas - Chnaged plug - rebuilt carb Anyone think it's a flywheel key? Other ideas? any help would be appreciated. thanks

Loosened the gas cap. didn't make a difference. thanks Pulled the flywheel, key is in one piece. Crankshaft seems to have alot of play in it, about 1/16 to 1/8 in. Should it move that much?

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
