Headlights

I'm looking for some headlights for my tractor. Looking on the internet, I have found many Par 36 tractor lights, but the prices seem to vary greatly. Has anyone had good luck with sourcing aftermarket headlaps? Most of the ones that I have found have rubber enclosures, I'd like something metal that can be painted

These are metal and probably the closest you will get to the originals. Originals are on ebay quite often. I bought a set of the rubber mounted one 10 years ago. They seem to never stay where you have them pointed. They have been a box now for 9 years now. http://www.truck-lite.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId=10001&productId=28912&langId=-1

If you don't care if they look factory, NAPA has some I've bought for under $15 and they work great.

That's whats on my 2010 in this pic. It's a worker so original isn't so important on it.

Hey Storm, it looks like you have a light bracket... you wouldnt have a drawing with dimensions would you? The ones from Truck Lite are exactly what I would want, but i dont see how you can order them from the company.

You have to do a google search for truck lite dealers. http://www.levineautoparts.com/trpar36utli.html http://www.woodys-auto-supply.com/mobile/mobile-auto-part-details.asp?prod=TRK-650W Here is a metal one from Grote. http://grote.com/product.php?product_number=64441 Here is a Grote par 46 in chrome. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Grote-Par-46-Chrome-Light-Lamp-Housing-Heavy-Equipment_W0QQitemZ300404555522QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item45f181bf02 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2-TRACTOR-DOZER-STEEL-LIGHT-WORK-HEADLIGHTS-8N-9N-G_W0QQitemZ300393603161QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_100?hash=item45f0daa059

No, don't have a drawing or anything. I was going to try to make one, but after seeing how the originals are made I changed my mind. They're real heavy and bent so the light shines down some. I'd say just find an original.

Those two links Ray posted from E-Bay look pretty good.I bought some awhile back from a club member,(Reproduction)that weren't as close to the original as the two posted on E-Bay

Bought rubber lights at tractor supply for my 3112. The heat from exhaust stack melted the one on that side. Went back bought the steel lights used the rubber for the rear on the 3112 and my 7117. Hey they are maid in China what should I expect.
