Those hold a pretty good value due to the fact that they built the GTs for Minneapolis Moline, Oliver and some Fords. Those are worth good money so the Jacobsons are too for spare parts.;) That one looks like a solid piece.

My first GT was a big Jake, I got it from my father, I seem to remember it was a Chief. Can't remember it's year though. Sold it to my youngest brother. He dumped a load of money into it. I'm not sure what ever happened to it. on edit: It's been 25-30 years ago, my memory is pretty spotty on this, but I believe it had a 12hp Kohler, I also seem to remember a thick cast aluminum mower deck that came on it.

I redid a 77 Jac 1650 and with the part numbers, was able to get them all from my local Ford/New Holland dealer since Jacobsen built the garden tractors for Ford.

I have a Chief. Great tractor. Most parts are still available through Ford/New Holland as they used to sell them under the Ford name.

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
